BURBERRY debuts on Apple TV with menswear fashion show

London's favorite heritage brand is now Apple TV's newest channel. ON JANUARY 11 BURBERRY WILL CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH BY USING THE PLATFORM TO LIVE STREAM ITS FALL 2016 MENSWEAR SHOW. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME A LUXURY LABEL HAS BROADCASTED A FASHION SHOW IN REAL TIME ON THE APP. Not only will viewers be granted VIP access to the runway looks but they'll also be treated to a live concert. After a captivating performance at the label's menswear show in 2014, British musician, Benjamin Clementine will return to provide the catwalk's soundtrack once again.Burberry's Apple TV channel will spotlight previous collections, offer beauty tutorials from in-house makeup artist Wendy Rowe, screen original films from Burberry Acoustic musicians, and provide additional exclusive content throughout the year.Founded over 150 years ago, Burberry continues to propel itself into the future as one of the industry's leading innovators. In 2013 Apple granted the UK label early access to the iPhone 5s camera to create content around its Spring 2014 show. Last year the companies resumed their partnership as Burberry became the first fashion brand to launch on Apple Music.As an early Snapchat adopter, Burberry streamed their Spring 2016 fashion show andcampaign shoot on the social media platform, providing fans with unprecedented behind the scenes access.
