In the name of art, 19-years old daughter of Hollywood’s most prolific and acclaimed actor/director Clint Eastwood, Francesca Eastwood, also the star of reality TV show Mrs. Eastwood & Company, along with her photographer boyfriend Tyler Shields publically demolished a $100,000 crocodile Hermès Birking bag by setting it on fire with $4 gasoline, before taking a chainsaw on it. This photographic stunt or artistry as described has put Francesca on the receiving end of abhorrent public outcry with the news spreading like a storm on social networking sites. The results of the duly destructed bag, all for the sake of a photo shoot can be seen on the Shiesld’s website and was also featured in Mrs. Eastwood & Company with Francesca Eastwood’s stepmother Dina expressing her disgust on this act.
However, it’s not only Dina that seems to be horrified with this photos shoot insensitive to those in need; angry viewers, fashionistas and many economically challenged people have expressed their anger on Francesca’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
As wrote by one angry viewer, "Some of us actually have to work and live check 2 check, spoiled rotten b***h to burn $100,000 bag". As said by another, "Wow.. The $100,000 wasted on this pointless shoot could of been used to benefit charities or needy people, Just crazy.” But, others have gone as far as to suggest that star-daughter Fracesca Eastwood should kill herself. And, Francesca is not all bothered by all these vicious reactions stating that she already knew people would be shocked, but they just don’t understand what is art.
